Julia graduated from the University of Birmingham with a Philosophy degree before deciding to enter the legal profession. She spent two years at Law School in London and then completed her solicitor’s training in Kent where she chose to specialize in criminal defence work.
In 2005 she was admitted as a solicitor and moved to the East Midlands. In 2011, Julia and her family relocated to Devon in order to be closer to family. Julia has had conduct of all types of criminal cases from minor road traffic to serious sexual offences and murder and can deal with all cases from the initial arrest at the police station right through to conclusion.

Julia also has a particular interest in Youth Court work and has a vast amount of experience dealing with clients in care.
In her own time Julia likes to spend time with her young family either walking on the moors or at the seaside. On the rare occasion that she gets time to herself she can be found relaxing with a glass of wine and a good book.
