Lisa was brought up in Northern Ireland and has worked in the legal profession since leaving school. Since qualifying as a Solicitor in 2000, she has specialised in personal injury law and civil litigation as well as the criminal law.

She has considerable experience of varied and high value claims, including road traffic accidents, accidents at work and public liability cases as well as industrial disease claims.

Lisa also advises clients regularly in the police station and attends the Magistrates Court to represent clients in a range of hearings from plea and sentence to application hearings.

In her spare time, Lisa cycles, plays netball and is a keen runner. She is married with two daughters and enjoys spending time with her family, which usually involves shopping!

Galina has specialised in criminal law since she qualified as a Solicitor in 1997. She worked in a busy East London practice, where she supervised a team of solicitors, until moving to Devon in 2006. Prior to qualification, she worked at the Court of Appeal, Criminal Division. She has considerable experience of varied and high-level cases. She has dealt with very serious matters including Murder, Rape and large Drug Conspiracies, together with other more general criminal cases.

She has been advising clients in the police station for over 20 years and attends the Magistrates Court on a regular basis to represent clients in a range of hearings from plea and sentence to conducting trials. She is a Duty Solicitor on both the Court and Police Station schemes. In her spare time, Galina has an interest in amateur dramatics, making mosaics and most of all, enjoying family time with her three children - which ideally involves a stroll on the Moors ending with a large glass of wine by the fire in a local pub.

Julia graduated from the University of Birmingham with a Philosophy degree before deciding to enter the legal profession. She spent two years at Law School in London and then completed her solicitor’s training in Kent where she chose to specialize in criminal defence work.

In 2005 she was admitted as a solicitor and moved to the East Midlands. In 2011, Julia and her family relocated to Devon in order to be closer to family. Julia has had conduct of all types of criminal cases from minor road traffic to serious sexual offences and murder and can deal with all cases from the initial arrest at the police station right through to conclusion.

Julia was awarded Higher Rights of Audience in 2009, this means that she has the added advantage of being able to represent you as your advocate, not only at the Magistrates’ Court, but also at the Crown Court should your case end up in the Higher Court. Julia also has a particular interest in Youth Court work and has a vast amount of experience dealing with clients in care.

In her own time Julia likes to spend time with her young family either walking on the moors or at the seaside. On the rare occasion that she gets time to herself she can be found relaxing with a glass of wine and a good book.
