What seemed unimaginable at the end of February has now become 'normal' life; how we've managed.

It is remarkable how what seemed unimaginable at the end of February has now become ‘normal’ life. Whilst steps have been introduced to help us return to ‘how it was before’, there have been good news stories in this time of course, from clapping for key workers, to a perhaps surprise surge in neighbourliness, and the extraordinary and quite unexpected fundraising success of a dignified and determined 99 year old gentleman.

During this period, we have continued to provide a first-class service to our clients, albeit in more challenging circumstances for our staff and clients alike. Interestingly, with the advent of mobile and conference technology, the last few years has seen a distinct change in how clients want to receive advice, moving away from face-to-face meetings, opting for telephone or conference calls as their preference. Whilst the lockdown has seen a significant rise in video-conferencing, mainly for internal team meetings and communicating with the Courts Service, we believe this is a trend that had already been embraced by many individuals and legal firms.

Although some of our services were initially impacted by Government ruling such as property transactions, other areas have seen an increase in activity. Our Family Team have continued to provide a personal, supportive, and passionate service to families and those in relationships that have experienced difficulties during this exceptional period in their lives.

Rundlewalker Practice Manager Hannah Somers said “anyone wondering how to choose a solicitor, should always look for evidence of good client care and high standards in customer service and practice management. We are delighted that during the Covid 19 period, we have continued to receive such positive feedback and great Google Reviews from our clients. This is a stressful time for our staff and our clients and if we can produce a successful outcome for all involved, it certainly makes our efforts worthwhile.”

She added “This is a wretched time for so many different reasons. For those clients for whom we have secured a conclusion to their case, and for the staff involved including those who are furloughed, yet manage to remain supportive with such grace, I can only say a huge ‘thank you’ to you all.”

A selection of recent Five Star Google Reviews:

"My wife & I are most impressed with the overall professionalism and dedication shown during our recent legal detail. Both Monika & Jenna have been superb to deal with; constant updates, legal jargon simply explained and all at a competitive price. We have no hesitation in recommending this practice & will no doubt be using them again ourselves." Mike Posnette.

"Sue Jury is a fabulous solicitor. She had an order put in place within hours to keep my family safe. She has been incredibly professional and so helpful and kind. Sue has kept in touch every day throughout the case. Highly recommend Sue Jury and her team." Eloise Pepperell.

"I have no hesitation in recommending Rundlewalker and in particular Rachel Smith who helped us navigate through a difficult case with compassion, professionalism and patience.
